TIM HENWOOD
Tim Henwood comfortably fills the role of musical journeyman. In recent times he has been part of the Multi-Platinum, ARIA Award winning, juggernaut, Rogue Traders, and is also the front man for the hugely successful platinum, ARIA Award winning, global phenomenon. The Androids with their world-wide smash Do It With Madonna.
Prior to the hugely successful 2000’s Henwood was part of the uber cool, multi- platinum, ARIA Award winning rock act, the Superjesus, in the late 90’s as guitar player/songwriter which established him as a creative force to be reckoned with.
Tim remains active as guitarist with the awesome, Jon Stevens on his Noiseworks/INXS collection tour and plays with Suzi Quatro in her touring band. He is also an ‘in demand’ song writer/producer/engineer/guitarist, working on various recording projects for Chocolate Starfish, Angry Anderson, James Reyne and many more.
MATT ORCHARD
Matty Orchard has been a working musician and a music educator for thirty years. In that time, he’s amassed more than 4000 gigs right across the country. If you do the maths, it equates to about 3-4 gigs a week in that time and it requires consistency and discipline! There’s probably not a scenario that he hasn’t experienced on stage at some point in the journey.
In 2022, Matty took home the ARIA Award for Music Teaching. It was a significant highlight and a nod to his decades of work with young, up and coming musicians, many of whom have gone on to develop careers in the industry themselves.
From 1990 to 2000, Matty hosted the Australian Music Show on 88.3 SouthernFM and championed the cause of hundreds of young Australian bands.
When he’s not gigging, producing, recording, and teaching, Matty plays in his band, The Rank Outsiders. They brandish vintage guitars and amps and love to play good time rock’n’roll drenched in classic R’n’B roots.
